What to expect
The Gold Coast's Wave Break Island is a fantastic site for snorkelling. There are over 50 different species of fish with depths ranging from 0 – 15m. Due to the location, there is minimum swell and you are secluded from other boating activities, as well as a beautiful beach to relax on in between exploring what Wave Break Island has to offer.
Things to look out for
Queensland Scuba Diving takes diving and snorkelling trips every day on board their catamaran "Discover" to Wave Break Island. Kids are welcome. Times are dependant on tides, departure time will be given at the time of booking. Please allow half a day for this tour.
Helpful Tips
Please make sure you bring your swimmers and plenty of sunscreen. You may also want to bring a waterproof camera to capture some of the beautiful scenery and wildlife.
